Lawless World

Author/lawyer/professor Philippe Sands visited our school during his new book promotion. He also stopped by to lead our trade class last week. I never bring money with me to class, so I added the book to my Amazon wishlist. The panel discussion was very interesting - it's nice to see people rationally disagreeing about things rather than everyone kowtowing to the same prescribed thoughts and feelings.

Hearing him speak made me think that not only was I born during the wrong era but I was born in the wrong country. But then I realize no matter how fucked up this country can be, I still don't think I could permanently move somewhere else. I'm not sure there is a problem-free country out there.
